I write this to commemorate our 15th Civil Wedding Anniversary (January 2, 2012) and 15th Church Wedding Anniversary (January 4, 2012)…more blessed years with you, My Prince! 😀
Me! In High School… 😉
Once upon a time in an island shaped like a sock (check your Philippine Map!), a Princess in Pink (duh! what else? hahaha) was walking in an open field (it’s now a parking lot, sigh). So young, naive and innocent, she is like a little child even in her teens. A protective pair of eyes follow her wherever she goes. The Princess may not have known it then but a promise has been made at this time. She was marked to be a wife – his wife.
6 years later, the doorbell rang, the Princess opened the door to see a man. She wonders why this man who is a stranger to her eyes doesn’t seem to be a stranger to her at all. All through the night they talked. It felt right. They clicked. They were comfortable talking about anything and everything as if they have known each other all their lives. Though they were in a group, it looked as if there were just the two of them. They ate the same thing. They sat together. Laughed together. The man was asked, “Where will you spend Christmas?” He jokingly answered, “with her”, pointing to the Princess. She also went along the joke by saying, “yes, call me on Christmas Eve, he’s with me.” Both meant it as a joke but it was a prophecy. 😉
The man never for once left her side that night. The night ended with a smile on his face and a wonder on her mind. What does this mean? It didn’t end there as they met again a week later. This time it’s just the two of them. The Princess was uncertain if she will go with him but the man was persistent. So they went on their very first date. As with their first meeting, their conversation was easy and spontaneous. Though the man was more demonstrative with his feelings…by the way he tries to hold her hand, the way he looks at her, and even when he walks with her. This did not escape her attention. She felt it. She just knew it’s special. It’s different. Like he said…it was Chemistry. 😉
The Princess has met her Prince. 😀
